What a bad idea. You can't be serious. Infinite grenades was the worst idea. People would just sit in a corner and rainbow grenades all day. Bad bad bad idea.

Hence it being an option. Infinite grenades are great for some gametypes.

It doesn't appear under the downloadable content menu. When you go to sign into Live! thru Halo 2 it will show the message automatically. Don't worry it will be there soon.

From what I remember hearing, I don't think Bungie will be bringing back Hang em' High, just because of the new weapons, Battle Rifle etc...However I could be wrong, they should really bring back Sidewinder........white armor rules!!!

I don't like the new patch that much. Sure, it's great that it reduced standby, and it's good that the grenades are better, but taking away sword flying was bad, and the melee attacks are just too strong now.

There really isn't much to the new patch. Yeah the grenades pop faster and the melee is stronger, but what? I was looking forward to the 2 vs. 2 patch. I guess not. But overall, the new patch really didn't do much other than fixing bugs that were pretty useless.

I think they could've done a bit better.

My guess is they are coming out with 2 vs. 2 when they come out with the new maps this month, just a guess though.

many glitches are gone. so far i found 2 only. dummy glitch and sword/rocket glitches are gone. sword cancel is still there. the standbying has not been fixed anyhow. neither the secondary standby. the way they are doing it now is they have special programs running so that if you stand by, they catch is NO MATTER WHAT almost, and you are banned from halo 2 matchmaking no questions asked. they did not fix it, but they put a harsh punishment and a program to find the standby in. thats what i got from the message they put. frankie said himself, we cant stop people from pressing suspend modem, but we can make it less worthwhile. i think thats what he means by that.

magnums so weak! geeze. they say they toned it down a bit huh, toned is an understatement!!!!!!!!

Things that I like about the updates:

1. Grenades are much stronger and have a little shorter fuse.
2. SMG and Plasma Rifle are weaker.
3. Magnum is weaker.
4. Melees are stronger.

Things that I do not like about the updates:

1. Did not change any aspect of any vehicle. I am not searching for anything in paticular, but some fine tuning of vehicles would be nice.
2. No maps have come out yet, but I can be patient...

From what I see, a lot of people will still be using or people who didn't use the Plasma Pistol / Battle Rifle combo, more often now. It should and will be one of the better combos out there. On top of that, if you do fail to hit someone with the Plasma Pistol, you'll be able to throw a grenade if they try to hide. Some of the update is good, but I wanted a bit more. I'm sorry that I'm being picky. I just want my moneys worth.
