Halo 2 Online Tournaments - www.H2Tourneys.com

We're getting ready to officially launch a new Halo 2 online tournament website, www.H2Tourneys.com. We want this site to be as interactive with the players as possible, so we are currently taking suggestions for gametypes and rules in our forums.

www.H2Tourneys.com will soon be offering:

- Secure payments for tournaments through PayPal or creditcard
- both MLG and default matchmaking rules.
- Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place in each tourney.
- 16 to 32 man FFA tournaments.
- 16 team 4v4 tournaments.
- 16 team 2v2 tournaments.
- and just about anything else you would like to compete in!

We are also thinking about offering both high stakes and low stakes tournaments as some people want bigger prizes. Again, we urge you to post in our forums what you would like to see in the tournaments, we are open to pretty much anything!

You can now begin enrolling for tournaments!

The tournaments time are as follows:

MLG FFA - Monday, June 6 7:00 PM CST

Default FFA - Monday, June 6 9:00 PM CST

MLG 2v2 - Tuesday, June 7 7:00 PM CST

Default 2v2 - Tuesday, June 7 9:00 PM CST

MLG 4v4 - Wednesday, June 8 7:00 PM CST

Default 4v4 - Wednesday, June 8 9:00 PM CST

If I am not supposed to advertise, I apologize. I read through the rules and did not see it, but I could have missed it.

Not to be rude, but that doesn't make much sense. You're right, everyone can host their own tournaments. But if everyone is hosting their own and not joining others, then nobody is playing. In order for a tournament to work, people have to play.

Now there are free tournament sites out there if that is what you are looking for, and there are just as many that you have to pay for. We may offer some free tournaments in the future, but as of now, there is a fee. This allows us to give out generous cash prizes to the winners instead of just a pat on the back. Paid tournaments aren't for everybody and we understand that. So for those of you who are interested, feel free to register at www.H2Tourneys.com and post your comments and suggestions in our forums on what you would like to see in the upcoming tournaments.

Thank You

TANTRUM is doing nothing wrong according to the rules. You can advertise sites like that, you can not however advertise sites such as other proboards or hyperboards forums.

Well, I will respond as long as it is ok with the mods. It is not my intention to spam your forums. I just thought many people in these forums would be interested in something like this.

Now, to answer your question...yes and no. We have both Free and Paid Tournaments. The paid tournaments run $6.00 to $12.00 per person to enter. If you have any futher questions, feel free to email us at events@h2tourneys.com

32 man tournaments are broken into four - 8 man matches. The top 4 players of each 8 man match move on in the Winners Bracket. The bottom 4 drop to the Losers Bracket.
