i have now gone through 2 copies of this game.
i love it but it keeps cracking, not scratching but actually cracking, from the middle of the disc, verticlly, down through to the outer edge, and it raises the "film" of the disc, kinda looks like a shint piece of pizza, but anyways, it keeps freaking cracking. two copies down the tubes.
i love this game, play it non-stop, could that be the reason?? i dont know. has anyone else has this issue with the disc or am i just really damned unlucky?

Playing it non-stop could be a factor. Or something in your Xbox is messed up.

yeah im thinking it's playing it nonstop, like 13 games in a row (on 5min periods), i guess i should go and invest a bunch more time into my 3rd char on fallout3, but damn thats pretty engrossing too! ACK!!

...and the box plays everything else great (except civilizations that makes wierd noises from time to time, chugging noises; to be sure!) never had issues with anythig other than these two games (and i guess just cause, for some reason that game honked my machine up).

and to think, this is my third 360...

well im just going to get a copy from EB, and then take back one of the busted copies, and then later another of the busted copies (i have 2 right now) and then i'll have 3 copies of this wonderful game.

...isnt it said in witchcraft that things come back at you 3 times...

but again this is the third 360 i've had (2 back to microsoft) and soon the 3rd copy of nhl09...

I would think it has to be your 360. Certain discs just don't crack.
