Two people reviewed Madworld. M! Games gave it a 81% saying it had:
Pro:
- superb graphics
- great soundtrack
- complex but easy controls
- exciting story

Con:
- some camera issues
- boring (but short) motorbike passages
- boring multiplayer mode

Nintendo Power gave it a 9/10. Great review, happy to see it has received these scores. No scans on the actual review yet. Could someone please scan?

And now, adding this third review with my edit, IGN (which is, in my opinion, one of the most important reviewers for this game) has given MadWorld a 9.0 (considered "outstanding" on their site). I am getting really impressed! Great to see that this game is getting good reviews. Day one buy for me, for sure.

So now the average is an 8.75/10. Very glad

That's great so far. While Nintendo Power hands out 10s and 9s to first party titles REALLY easily, it almost never gives anything higher than an 8 to third party games (Okami got a 7.5, Black Knight got an 8, ect.). This has to be the first time in a while that it has given out a near perfect score to a third party game.

As for M! Games, while 81% isn't that bad, I seriously am surprised based on their pros and cons list. I mean, they seemed to take off a LOT of points for those rather minor flaws. The list makes me think they would have given it at least an 8.75.

And with IGN, very glad to see another 9.

But whatever, an 8.75/10 average is definitely a day one buy for a game I'm this hyped about. I am still impressed with the scores Madworld has received and I can only hope it continues to get these scores.
