Is Death Magnetic worth buying? |
|
Umm, hi. I was wondering is Death Magnetic worth purchasing if I don't play on Expert? It seems like it's mainly aimed at people who play on Expert and since I can barely pass some stuff on the actual game when I play on that difficulty (mainly end-game stuff, but I often fail anything harder than
Sorry about that; put the wrong song name >_< This message was edited by Butz Klauser on Jul 24 2009. | |

Will...you can play them on hard. eventualy if you a consisten player yell get to the point ware you can pass anything. but I don't know. I've played expert sents the first game. so I have no real concept of this. If you like mitallica I'd say go for it.

If you can't beat Fade to Black's solo, most of the solo's in DM, whilst not as long, are probably about as tricky. Not to mention a couple of the main riffs will do your head in most likely.
If you are a big metallica fan, I'd still pick it up regardless of what skill level your on. Just know no matter what level you play on they won't be a walk in a park (I'd say they would still be tough on Hard). That's my opinion anyways ------------------- ![]()

I normally screw up on Fade to Black at about 90% or so... and I only got through once because I was lucky enough to have some Star Power left over <.< Still, if there only about that difficult (which I guess is a lucky break; I was expecting them to be as hard as, say, Dyer's Eve >.<) I should be able to eventually pass them on Expert. A challenge on Hard would be nice too, so that's good as a fall-back for when I finally 5-star the last two tiers.

*cough*I FC'd Fade to Black*cough*
Yeah, none of them are as hard as Dyer's Eve. Most of them have tricky strumming riffs and a hard solo (which, if you keep star power for won't be much trouble). The only one that will cause a big problem is The Day That Never Comes, as it has a long hard solo, but I think you can handle the others. Your gonna be on the improve anyways, so even if they're a little hard for you now you'll "grow into them" so to speak. Take a look at some of the youtube vids if you're still not sure, see if you like 'em ------------------- ![]()

Yeah I have bought it and I think it is excellent. I only really play on medium/hard anyway. So yeah, buy it

I'd say buy the album first. it's all whether you enjoy the songs in their new album or not.
