Ground Game- BBJ, Judo, Wrestling |
|
What do you find has the best transitons and reverses and whatnot.
I personally can't decide between Judo or Wrestling- I usually have a muay-thai/wrestling setup, but judo works real well for me, people don't know how to deal with it because it's rare. And also, what is the best way to reverse the north south position? For some reason, I can't reverse that particular position. ------------------- $KIRMI$H XL

BJJ Jiujitsu is definitely the best ground technique without a doubt. You can reverse ANYTHING. Your opponent takes you down? No problem, in 2 seconds you could pull rubber guard, take his back, and choke him out.
Wrestling and Judo don't compare. -------------------

BJJ reverses tend to be more complex/harder to pull off though, and their take down is pretty awful if your against a skilled ground fighter. Say your online, and your playing as Frank Mir (I believe he's BJJ, if not correct me) and you pull a skilled ground fighter playing as Lesnar into the position you land in, your f$cked. Whereas the takedowns from Judo and Wrestling are far more advantageous and damaging. I am not saying BJJ is the worst, I am just trying to spark some debate. So, what would you say is the best style for the clinch? I'd say muay thai, but I've never experimented too much with the others.. Thoughts? ------------------- $KIRMI$H XL
