Every game has it's flaws, but it would be fun with a little more moves to do, like on Fifa if you press the R3 button in the player would do the Blanco Bounce, would be fun to put in something like that, and the ability to do the tricks with the trick stick, instead of moves being done random at the worst possible time, like when Pato once tried to Ronaldo Chop the goalie as I tried to go around him

Fifa's a game for trick whores and lazy people who don't want to edit. It's way to slow, PES has flaws, but at least its got prolonged playability, Fifa gets boring within a week.

Maybe, personally I've been a PES guy from day, but it's just lacking in excitement these days. The master league is horrible, online is boring, there is a stupid range of boot's & hairstyle's in edit mode? I mean if they have the Nike/Adidas license why not have more than 2-3 boots ..

At the minute I'm playing Fifa 09 on Legendary mode (the hardest).. It's actually quiet exciting and recently had a 5-5 thriller in the champions league with Barcelona and then went out on penalties!.. Pro is just way too easy, you can run through the whole team with just one player. I really hope Konami pull there socks up for PES2010 because I really don't wanna have to buy Fifa 10 !

And how has PES2009 got prolonged playability? It's the same animations/shots over and over again and it's been that way since Pro 6 where in my opinion the game started to go downhill and has ever since. You can't even switch teams and the end of a master league so I don't know how thats exciting being with the same team for 15 seasons.

I'm not a Fifa fan boy or anything I'm very far from it, but if you can't see that Fifa 09 has easily trampled over PES2009 then you must be blind. I mean, updated commentary, The adidas live season where players stats get updated on there recent form, Be a Pro, a recent downloadable content the "Ultimate team" mode where you buy Game pack cards etc. And what has PES2009 got really apart from Become a Legend which isn't actually all that and they took the idea of Fifa anyway.

I don't particularly like either games engine, i think PES' is too cartoony, and nobody moves 90 degrees at every turn, where i feel Fifa's is too smooth, and unrealistic.

Konami has gotta sort it out big time, i'd adore a PES4-5 on the NG, with a similiar game engine. I'd literally love it. Doubt it will happen, but i haven't heard anyuthing but good things so far, so i look forward to PES10, with hope.

Yeah I agree with you on the PES4-5 thing with NG would be amazing. But yeah I have a ML and gone like 6 seasons but it's just asif I'm playing for nothing to gain at the end of it. And I've done a BAL and that's on like my 8th season but I havent played that for months, I just got bored as I was a striker and they kept playing me in defensive mid haha. Thats why I seeked out Fifa 09 for a change until PES2010 hit's the stores .

Some serious PES Fan-boyism going on by certain people in this thread, I see the forum hasn't changed

I've had PES and FIFA since day one pretty much, and I've played a good 600 games on FIFA, and about 10 on PES.

I never use the trick stick on FIFA and let's be honest, how many people do all the editing on PES themselves? The majority just get an option file off here or elsewhere on the net.

PES 2010 will hopefully be a vast improvement, but it's going to take something really special for me ever to ignore FIFA again.

Lol, a 5-5 thriller yet it's "easy" to score on PES . I play on Top Player on PES and I rarely score more than 3/4 goals when I win. The most I've scored in a game is 7 but that's only happened twice.
