Just had the most shocking game with Coruna

In the first 25 mins I was down a goal, and a man! Somehow though I rallied my troops and xisco got two assists, and Mista got two goals before half time. De Guzman then got the cheeky saviour goal just before they scored again.

I was shitting myself, but the game ended 3-2 to me which meant I got my third win of the season and got my first back to back win .

I'm playing 2008 on PS2 but the 2008 forum is dead so I will post here.

Just played a *bleep*ing brutal game. Liverpool vs Man U - 3 players sent off on each team. For Liverpool, it was Dossena, a guy called Lindgren and Johnson or Skrtel. For me, it was Quagliarella, Diame (who came on as a sub) and Shennikov. I ended up playing a 4-3-0 formation lol! Thank god that my players are versatile (<3 arda turan) and I managed to shift them around.

What was the score?

I smashed them 4-0 or something. >_>

Started a final Master League with the defaults, but as Newcastle with the most recent kits.

Quite happy with it so far. Here's a little report for you all:

The Players
Starting with a team of randomly generated idiots wasn't something that appealed to me. However, then I remembered I'd started with Tottenham so that kinda threw that out the window. Either way, I decided not to go with the original team but only to select a team and have no technical advantage over anyone but still having the likes of Ceciu and Ivarov and, yes, Hamsun. At least we had depth, I mean- what can be worse then starting with a team of idiots as long as you have another sixteen idiots to change the team with.

The Plan
So, I decided that I will make it as much of a challenge as possible- none of the former winning the league after two seasons bullshit. I drafted myself into Division Two, with a complete super league format for Division One- Real Madrid, Barca, Man United, they're all in there. Quite a daunting task should I get through Division Two in the first year. I decided to make Division Two not as hard as I could have, but still quite a challenge. In came Sunderland, West Brom, Besiktas and Auxerre as the main threats, with the usuals of Zenit and Cluj.

The Results
So, the challenge began. And it began well. Wins against De Graafschap (3-2) and AZ (2-1) saw me holding onto first place in week three, and this was (somehow) followed by seven draws. Meanwhile, in the Cup it was another tale, four wins had seen us through the First Round and the Quater Finals with a 3-0 victory over WE United and a 2-0 victory over West Brom. The club then launched into a fantastic 3-0 win over West Brom, before losing 2-0 to Auxerre in the last week before the transfers, but it's fine, currently in fourth place and with only one loss recorded- could be worse, right?

The Transfers
So, the transfers. The season defining moment, if you will. The usual shite came along with some of the same talent- Chapi, Gunther, Soler, Prieto, Cem, Marchand. Who would I get though?

The Future
With the team now improved, the second half of the season should see more wins come for the side, who in fairness were controlling most, if not all, of the games in the first half of the year. Promotion is a must, whilst winning the title or the Cup would be a bonus.

Although I was led to believe you had signed K Schmeichal. When I saw he was in your team. Pretty surprised you had him on loan actually, but then again I guess all the 2010 shizzle probably made you forget to update your game by hand .

Lol, thanks. Although young Kas hasn't been able to stop the threats as it's currently 2-2 against De Graafschap.
Still, this'll take my mind off of not being able to play the new one.

I don't think Senderos is that good, and neither is Marcelo. But then again Marcelo might have a great growth curve as he's only 21.
Don't know how old Senderos is so he might be great, but he might not either.

Senderos peaks at 79 but plays way above it.
Marcelo is nearing the 90's and is immense.

Marcelo is not as good as drenthe. Drenthe is much better as he has a lasting curve and is more physically tough
