Garden 7 |
|
I've been doing the gardens in order so far, not moving on to the next one until I've got every Spectra and opened every seed in each. I finished garden 6 last night and was pretty happy with how things were going, turned the game off with the plan of going through garden 7 today.
Just played it for the first time and...wow, wasn't expecting anything like that. The difficulty really has been ramped up, getting the first Spectra is easy enough, but after that, well, where the hell do you start...

re: Garden 7 |

At most I've gotten 3 Spectra in the Garden, and coming close to my doom at every step of the way. In fact I don't actually think there were any more crystals in the Garden for me to get my fourth bit of Spectra. Personally I've taken a bit of time out from that garden and I'm focussing on two of the trophies that I'm yet to get.
The thing I hate about Garden 7 (Garden 10, is worse in my opinion) is that it honestly disorientates me. After playing normally, when it flips to the side, I find it EXTREMELY difficult to get the Grimp to go where I want it to. But I guess if I stay focussed I should be able to get it. In any case to answer your question, theres one Spectra that you can get easily by activating the seeds on the far bottom right (easier after the first change), then from where you started, directly above, there are A LOT of seeds. If you can unblock all of them, then that'll lead you to a seed which will turn into one of those 'levers' that opens the path for you to get to the Spectra. Theres another one like that when approaching from the top, (but more towards the left) and I believe theres a spectra from where you drop down when its tilted to the left (confusing I know). Essentially, just keep opening as many seeds as possible, and getting the crystals as soon as your a couple time bars down should hopefully do the trick. I may even take a look at some Youtube videos for advice if I still can't get all five. But I too am at the point where I've only got 7-10 to do. ------------------- ![]()

I tried going for the get all seeds in Garden 7.. That will be a tough task. I think i'm going to wait till i somehow complete the garden so i can get all the spectra's for time extending purposes

Well I've worked out a trick to this. You need to get all the seeds on the outside edge first before going for the other ones (go clockwise from where you start). If you do this you can get to the right hand side before you change direction.
Got this trophy after 40 minutes - which is actually QUICKER than it took me to get the trophy for Garden 8. ------------------- ![]()

Doesn't the gravity change clockwise too? So if it's going down when it changes you will fall to the left. So yeah going clockwise around is probably the best.
I actually got the hang of the gravity change pretty quick. You just have to change your mindset. Kind of tilt the map on it's side (in your head). -------------------

I think it goes counter clockwise.

Gravity goes Counter-Clockwise, but I found that I could adjust it so the gravity went whatever way I wanted it to go by simple getting close to a spectra. That was the only time the gravity bug came to change the gravity.
