my drum set continues to get disconnected. Cant get through a whole song without being kicked off. Guitar works fine, any suggestions?

my drums do the exact same thing. it happens on some songs but not all. usually the faster paced ones. i just keep keep checking the batteries and makin sure they're good. also, make sure to NOT hit the pads TOO HARD. that seems to set this off most the time. otherwise, the drum set is just random. works just fine on Guitar Hero World Tour though...which is weird
