So what are peoples thoughts on this game ?
It maybe a step backwards, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I love the look of the 2D sprites on 3D backgrounds - something I haven't seen in a long awhile. I can't wait, to be frank. Although barely any info has been released on this game, im looking forward to it a little more than Vesperia (im a sucker 2D graphics and the AR-LMBs combat system... XD).

Classic style is good. Eternia, Destiny 2j, Rebirth, and Destiny remake were awesome. XD
(okay so Rebirth does it on three planes, but it's still 2D!) Seriously, the sprite models in the Tales games are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen (Odin Sphere is another one). Screw Disgaea, I don't think they're as beautiful *gets shot* ------------------- | |

LOL Cruxis Mana...that gave me a good laugh. But I think ToH has a higher chance of seeing US release because of the CGI...

I have a feeling if one of the versions was coming to the U,S,, it would be the CG version. I may get a DS if this gets localized.

Yeah - I really like the sprite art they've got going.
The CG is beginning to grow on me now as well, but since we are yet to see anything of the Animated version its hard to guess which one will end up on top. ------------------- | |

I think the option of anime and CG cutscenes is pretty cool-it will give you an incentive to play through twice.
I just hope this gets localized unlike Innocence; I'm still mad at Namco for that!  -------------------
