Wouldn't the ban essentially be useless if they created a new file since it bans off of Friend Codes? Or just format the console itself if it's Wii Codes?

quote Ech0ezif that works then this banning process will be completely useless...but then you have to think that they would lose all their data if they format the system so they would have to start all their wifi games all over since wifi games cant be transfered to an SD card (unless there's a hack for that). and losing all the data and the rank that they cheated so much for online would be kind of a waste ------------------- Brawl FC: 2277-6401-4961 ![]() ![]()

the major problem is the home brew channel. Nintendo is currently trying to axe it completely. it has hack for some games & encourages hacking.
the ban is if you try to load a game through the home brew channel or any other site that has hacks. but if you just load a game from the system then your not using a hack. every Wii has an unchangeable code which the owner can't fiddle around with. if a hacker try's to load a game threw the HBC it simply blocks access to the internet connection if Nintendo decides to ban someone for hacking. This the Email I got from Nintendo, sorry if there's a rule against posting emails. but this from Nintendo itself
Hello and thank you for contacting Nintendo, We understand and are aware of these Hackers when you’re just trying to have some fun and it’s ruined by someone cheating. I want you to know that this issue is very important to us and we continue to look for ways to minimize abuse. Please note that your comments regarding this matter have been shared with the appropriate departments within Nintendo for review. People who are found to be using hacks or are found cheating online in any of our games will be denied access to the multiplayer features. One more thing, to avoid situations like this in the future, we strongly recommend using the Friend Code feature. It’s the best method players have to create a fair gaming experience. Sincerely, Alain Dao Nintendo of America Inc. quote Ready Start L_ArcPlease don't encourage people to find ways to not getting caught or banned the point is Nintendo is banning people for hacking game and they are aware of it. Wow. Why are us hackers always stereotyped? Not all of us are assholes >_>
Infinite health = opporitunity (SP?) to spectate a match Infinite ammo = aim practice (have any of you REALLY run out of ammo on The Conduit?) and some of us, only use hacks in friendly games such as in SSBB. Most hacks in that game, must be applied by both consoles. If not, the game freezes, or the hack will only be seen on their consoles screen (such as texture hacking) ------------------- ![]()

How can you run out of ammo in the Conduit? It's darned near impossible, and especially online with all of the ammo caches around. Either way, if the hackers get the banhammer, I honestly won't care. I don't hack and thus I really shouldn't worry about it.
Another hacker banned from Wi-Fi is just another potential douche that I won't have to worry about. ------------------- Transformers Episode One: The Hunt is finally complete! Please, constructive criticism is highly welcomed! *Now with silly transformation sounds*

Considering I've had the HBC for a long time now and none of the updates have changed any of it, I don't think they're too concerned about it. Granted I don't do anything illegal with it but still.

people that use hacks in the counduit will have unlimited ammo all time & will have 0 damage taken & 0 deaths. A dead give away of a conduit hacker is having 0 deaths at the end of a game.
there's a bunch of videos of hackers in "conduit hackers" videos on YouTube That is what they (Nintendo) are trying to fix. Updates really don't have anything to do with your system or if you've found a way to cheat online. The home Brew channel is alos in serious Shi*t over providing hacks for various games.

stop encouraging hacking & play like real gamers. A gold rank in conduit is worthless if people know you cheated to get it.
Hackers are people that have absolutely no skill online, so they have to hack a game so they don't get killed. And it's just plane *bleep* and unfair hacking of a Wii game ? it's just pathetic & proves that they can't really win without cheating. how noob can a person get ? and it cost's you wins & experience if someone is cheating online hacking a pvp online games just proves hackers have no skill at all if they're using hacks to win
