Everything will be encompassed in this thread. The bulk of the activity will be with The Plaza matches and the General Discussion, with the Hall of Fame and Bunker stuff near the end of the month and stored in the first posts of the thread.

I'm still slightly confused on how The Bunker works.

Let me get this straight:

8 Members are nominated each month via thread posts or PMs to you. These 8 people will participate in a tournament at the end of the month that will rank each person in The Bunker by order of the place they came in (in the tournament)?

The first time around, eight people will be nominated, and a tournament held between them for ranks, to get things started. The next month, two new people can be nominated from the forum, and they will play the bottom two players currently in the Bunker. The top two players from these four will be added back into The Bunker, at which point a new ranking tourney will be in place in the group. At that point, a new ranking tournament will be held.

Ah, that makes sense. At the start of every month, two people are nominated to fight the two bottom people in The Bunker (the winning team takes the rank back) and then a tournament is held after that battle.

Yup, but it's an individual round robin with the four people, with the two best moving on. So, say B7 and B8 are the lowest members of The Bunker, and the forum nominates N1 and N2. Results for:

B7 vs. B8
B7 vs. N1
B7 vs. N2
B8 vs. N1
B8 vs. N2
N1 vs. N2


Would be totaled and the top two would move into The Bunker.

hmm, i'm still a tad confused but i'll figure it out as things progress.though i like the idea of this thread. i think i'll be participating in the plaza quite often

so its sort of set up like the chaos commanders tourney? just on a bigger scale. correct me if im wrong

If you wanted to compare it to something, you could say that this is a forum-wide clan where anyone is free to join. We have our general discussion, scheduled play times, and our "elite team". However, everything but The Bunker is designed for anyone of any skill level to enjoy together.

I guess what put this idea in my head was seeing the communities evolving in the clan threads, and wanting to bring some of that out on a broader scale, to make people more comfortable with the larger community. Of course, I still expect that the clans will retain their activity, since this thread is in no way a commitment by anyone save the match host and The Bunker honorees.
