What, you want all the rapists to talk to the innocent little children online!?!

You know, B, you do have a point. But rapists find ways to talk to little children over the internet (and even WiiSpeak) anyway. We've pretty much proven that here by trading codes with (mostly) people we don't know in real life through Neo. So I don't know why Nintendo can't get rid of FC's. If we want to get friends without being able to talk to them in public matches, we can. It really pisses me of (kinda), honestly...

I could understand having no strangers chat with Brawl of Mario Kart since plenty of young children will be playing that game and the experience could be ruined for them if an older player were to verbally abuse or yell vulgar into the Wii Speak, but for The Conduit and Call of Duty World at War? I mean, the games are meant for people above the ages of 13 (one of them is for 17+ year old gamers) so why is Nintendo still putting restrictions on the online chat? If someone buys an M rated game then they should be prepared for anything they may hear in game or online which is why I'm so confused that Nintendo still tries to put protection and restrictions on these services.

I think Nintendo has to stop all the friend code crap. I'd rather have an Xbox Live-esque wi-fi, where you get actual names.
quote MikstaslayaBut you still will find friends who say Halo online is with a bunch of 5 year olds who scream swears to act cool. -------------------

quote MikstaslayaSeriously. They only really do that to put parents at ease (we all know it's just to save face in the eyes of parents) but if the parents choose to buy their kids games rated T+ then they should know that there is content in said games that might not be suitable for their children. Yet, they buy them games that warn of the possible content. My point is, it's backwards. 「FM」 ------------------- quote RoxlimnTry to tell me that isn't true. Go ahead. Try it.

I caught it, that's why I said he does have a point (meaning regardless of sarcasm or not) and then started ranting on Nintendo's shitty FC decisions...

Give people random chat, they bitch about 10 years olds cussing. Take it away, the bitch about not having it. The console gaming community really are an unpleaseable bunch.

quote Ech0ezYeah...? Also, the ones who DO bitch about annoying 11 year olds when they have online voice chat are stupid, for on Xbax Live and PSN, you can simply mute the annoying little bastards. Problem solved. ------------------- Transformers Episode One: The Hunt is finally complete! Please, constructive criticism is highly welcomed! *Now with silly transformation sounds*

re: Wii Speak help needed *URGENT* |
quote LZ SchneiderI know. I just find it ridiculously amusing, especially considering most of people the people who complain about said little kids, or often the people who then turn around complain about the lack of random chat on the Wii, and several use it in their silly 'anti-Wii arguments'. Heck half of them are more annoying to listen to online than the little kids they bitch about. Needless to say I was reffering to what's generally seen about gaming forums, not the people in this thread. ------------------- Cursed Mountain Review
