how far does regional go? citywide? statewide? countrywide? and i know world wide is eveywhere duh

I'm pretty sure regional is based on the format your playing in. So, if your in NTSC region, such as the USA, Canada, or Latin America, your playing together, or PAL regions playing together with Europe. Could be wrong though.

So is it worth playing regional? Do you end up having a better connection and higher frame rate/less lag?

the closer people are the less lag because distance alone causes lag so yes, regional would have less lag. but if people just have a sucky connection theres nothing you can do about it
