I haven't got this game yet. (I will for Christmas) Yet everyone was talking about this game and now that its out, no one is on this forum ranting on how bad or good this game is. What's up people?

If it was overhyped, I'm 99% certain that this place'd be flooded by "OMG DIS GAME SUX!" threads by now. I think it's safe to say that it's obscenely fun and everyone's having a blast playing it.

What do you mean by over-hyped? This game has received a massive amount of hate from the very beginning. Nobody is talking about the game because no one bought it.

And Cheatsy Koopa said it was great little game in your Who Has It? thread. So theres that.

Anywayz I hafta agree, I just got the game and I'm having a blast. Sure its not Virtua Fighter, but it was never meant to be that anyway. And the online mode does rock, believe the hype.

Mainly people just don't want to give it a chance and people want to nit-pick about stupid shit and bitch about the character designs.

Am I the only one left who just plays games for fun and just enjoys them for what they are? Sure this game isn't my favorite fighter of all time or anything, but I am not going to waste my time comparing and it tearing it down.

Instead I just enjoy it for what it is. Me getting to play as some of my fav CV characters, who the cool new designs, beating the shit out of each other. What's not to enjoy?

I think its great and you will enjoy it if you aren't one of these picky and whiny ass new school gamers who take games too damn seriously.

No. I'm used to playing games for GAMEPLAY as opposed to the vain bitches who grew up playing "decent" games... where the only above average thing was fuggin' Graphics. And really, what do they contribute to the game? Jackshit. I enjoy 8-bit games more than 128-bit since they were actually fun.

My son is luvin' the Shit outta this game. So much I still havent had the chance to play it yet.

It's okay. There's nothing terrible about the game (the effectiveness of the camera is particularly lacking), but it feels like it could've used a few more months in the cooker. Rushed for the holidays much?

I wondered what was up with those people. Then I saw Shanoa's costume for Judgment after having playing Order of Ecclesia, and more or less understood what they were talking about. People who were already used to the old designs would be naturally put off by the new ones.

Thats funny, cause Shanoa is the only design I hate in this game. I should be angry that Death doesnt have a robe, but he's just so darn cool looking...

Overall I thought Obata's designs were pretty sweet.

Anyway, who else feels the sub-weapons got short-changed? Most of 'em do piddling amounts of damage and hearts are such a pain to get, especially when the sub-weapon change item comes up instead - the random element makes sub-weapons so unreliable. They should've let you pick one sub-weapon for the match at the character select screen, and maybe giving the option to change between rounds. And make the hearts more plentiful >_>

Also, super finishers do to much damage, and the skill meter should have one or two more uses besides them.

Or add an option where you add another health bar like SPOILER--Time Reapers--Spoiler .
