Any tips on beating him? He keeps kicking my ass...

Well I haven't played this game in a while, that's why I haven't responded to your post yet. I was hoping someone else would come along...

...but you know how to dodge with the nunchuk right? Well timing that is key, as well as the direction you wave it. Once you discover the pattern it becomes quite easy. But yeah it took me a while too...

There is a trick if you are using Tall characters (Golem, and Dracula to mention 2), go to the statue on the rigth side try to be near at is as possible because, when he laucnhes the huge beam, YOU CANT AVOID IT AS DRACULA OR GOLEM, instead if you are usign aeon, maria , and such run under the beam and attack.

That's not true... Just use the dodge to roll (or in Dracula, Alucard, and Aeon's case, teleport) thru the beam...

not always will work, soem times, the beam will hit you even if you roll out, i have tried, but mostly attack when the beam is starting and going down to it, to one of deaths blind spots.
