why would they make an old version of the Mega Man game, rather than revolutionizing the gameplay style and make an even better game?!?

ok, I guess I can see what you mean, but isn't that all the reason to try something "new" then re-make the "old"

I've got to admit it does kind of look poor now, however I wish they would start putting some decent old games on there now I'm not on about PSone games although I want some more of them. What I mean is games like Sonic, Pacman, Space Invaders, etc.

they wanted to remake it's classical feel, so they made everything the same. Still, they could have kept the gameplay with better graphics, at least 16-bit, if not 3D.

To be honest, I'm loving the classic feel. I was actually playing Crysis today when I downloaded Megaman 9 on a whim, and it is definitely a much-needed break from technological advancement before the holiday onslaught of new games.
Though, on the subject of 16-bit, I do almost wish they had done this with Megaman X, though that poor series did get kind of destroyed with the attempted advancements on each new console. I say good move on Capcom's part, though. I expect to be seeing either a new 16-bit Megaman X now or, better yet, maybe they could use the money they saved by developing an 8-bit game toward a Megaman Legends 3.  | |
