ok, so i'm playing through dragon age origins as a Human Mage, with the mages back story (the one in the tower). and i have morrigan in my team, and i've been watching my bro play (as a city elf warrior) and he has an option to kiss her...but i don't...anyone know why?

you probably just haven't gotten your relationship with her high enough yet. Give her a few gifts and maybe then she'll kiss you.

She likes jewelery, the cheap tart

Honestly I found that the best way to gain influence is to talk and then find their "special" gifts. For example, there is a small mirror sold in Orzammar that if you give it to her after she tells you about once stealing a mirror that her mother later smashed you get a huge slice of influence.

Other than that, just remember that Morrigan doesn't like selfless acts. She's not outright cruel, she just believes in survival of the fittest. So make sure your responses lean that way when talking to her.

There's a black grimoire in the mage circle tower that Morrigan is very grateful for too.

There's also a golden mirror in Orzammar.

Everyone has a gift like that, it pertains to the back story of that character. Alister has an amulet that one can find in Redcliff.

I know this is a little off of what you guys are saying, but the fact that the game has as much depth as romance and stuff is pretty awesome. I really can't wait to get this game!

I wish to add one thing to this, the romance with Morrigan 'ends' if the approval goes too high. Go above 90 and she will break up with you. She's apparently not so much into relationships.

No you just messed up the chat options. I had her at max the whole game and she was nuts about me. You can convince her that a relationship isn't so bad and then she is fine with going steady with you.

Going steady yes, but you don't get to make the beast with two backs afterwards. Didn't I just say it was a marriage?

Once again you are still wrong. I could have sex with her until the climax of the game (pun intended).
