Well, since we have no moderator, I guess some of us will have to be make-shift ones and try our best. Ask all your questions here on missions and so forth, anything that relates to the game. I'll start with an answer to a frequently asked question.
Q: What are the controls for the Ghosts while playing? The Instruction Booklet lacks the controls of them. A: Left Analog - Move Ghosts Around Right Analog - Move Ghosts' Sight Around R1 - Fire Weapon R2 - Use Scope/Zoom In L1 - Tactical Operations/Command Map L2 - Use Scope/Zoom Out D-Pad Right - Move to Next Person D-Pad Left - Move to Previous Person D-Pad Up - Stand Up/Shift Stance D-Pad Down - Sit Down/Shift Stance Select - ? Start - Pause Game Square - Change Weapons X - Reload Circle - Action Button (Open Door, Get on Machine Gun, etc...) Triangle - Toggle Night Vision On/Off R3 - Quick Command L3 - Peer Around Corners This can also be viewed by accesing the 'Options' Menu on the Main Menu, and from there accesing the 'Controller' Menu. Thanks! Since I don't have the instructions, i've just been trying to figure everything out as I go. When selecting team members, it looks like I can change their "points" after selecting their weapons kits. What's the point of that? Also, on the command map, it looks like i can set only one team at a time, correct? Then, I have to wait until they reach their destination before setting the other team. one last thing: does the arrow on the compass point north and what do the outer rings mean? Sometimes they are yellow, sometimes they are red. Are they threats or destinations or both? Thanks, Bravo out!

Question:
quote atomicshfflAnswer: The four points have letters each standing for their attributes, W, S, E, and L, Weapon, Stealth, Endurance, and Leadership. Each one has its own ability and affects the battlefield. Weapon - His/Her accuracy with his/her weapons; reflected in how quickly the target reticle pips converge when he/she is the active character. Stealth - His/Her skill at moving quietly; reflected in how close he can get to an enemy before being detected. Endurance - His/Her ability to take physical damage, reflected in the number of wounds he/she can take. Leadership - His/Her ability to make all of the soldiers around him/her better; reflected by a one point increase in all skills for all soldiers in his/her platoon for every three he/her has in Leadership. Question: quote atomicshfflAnswer: No, you are not correct that you can only set one team at a time. Simply select a unit from the team in the game through the D-Pad, press L1, and the team should be ready to move for you. Select the teams waypoint and they're off. Once they are, select the next unit from another team and set theres. If it doesn't work, do it manually, your troops have better accuracy that way and if one team gets behind, press R3 by your troops and they'll come roaring by to help. Besides, you'll need the practice of moving out manually with troops for future missions. Question: quote atomicshfflAnswer: The arrow on the compass does point north, yes. The outer rings indicate the threat level of nearby enemies. When taking fire, the ring will turn red and will be facing the direction the fire is coming from. If no fire is around, the ring will stay yellow. They are threat detectors, I haven't seen them help me in finding destinations. Hope that answers your questions for now! Glad to help out. ------------------- Under Username "Tribulation"

My question deals with advancement. Is each medal based on total kills during the game or just on one mission? Is there a way in the game to see how many kills each of your soldiers has?
thanks. | |

The arrow points either to the next objective or to the next waypoint. It would have been useful to have a North arrow as well to get my bearing quickly.

I have one, if a team member becomes dead is there any way you can get them alive again?
And, and and and... Do wounded team members become healed after one mission? PS: Tailwhip... One of your team members should be carrying an Anti-Tank Misslie thingy. The weapon icon looks like a tank. That's what it's for, to get rid of the tanks. It will ONLY fire in the direction of the tank. One of the tricks is to fire it while your far enough from the enemy so they can't hit you easily while aiming, and close enough so you can get at least a semi-accurate shot at 'em. After you blow up all of the tanks, and kill and surrounding enemies near the tank, the screen will flash, "Prevent HQ Breach Complete". If you didn't understand me, sorry, let Red help you. ~Ross This message was edited by _NiTrOuS_ on Jun 24 2003. -------------------

QUESTION:
quote megamanzyxANSWER: Yes, I believe there is an option called "Co-Op Mission" and "Co-Op Firefight." You may choose your level as long as you have beaten it in the game. Co-Op Mission gives you the normal objectives for each mission, only you have an ally to help you out. ------------------- Under Username "Tribulation"
