What do you expect and want from this game?
|
Alright, there is basically no info on this game, so kind of let your minds loose here. -What do you expect to see from this game (if anything)? -What do you want from this game, hopefully this will be a little different from What do you want in your final fantasy games considering this will be on PSP, so no all-new intense battle system that is only doable on the PS3 or 360. -I expect a new battle system all together that somehow includes all the characters -I want a love-story in it! Just trying to start some conversation here

Shuyu is correct, it is a lot like Crisis Core's battle system, but supposedly it has improvement, do not know what those are though.

I doubt it to be honest, I have a feeling we will next see Agito at TGS 09. I expect a trailer and maybe some gameplay then. E3 is not really SE's cup o' tea, If it wasnt for the multiplatform announcement, SE probably would not have even gone...

Agito really has no timeframe at all. i have heard it will be release after FFXIII and before Versus and i have heard it will be the last one released of the three.
I believe it will be the second game released to be honest, and I expect a midsummer late summer release for Japan, late 2010 release for the US...
I am starting to realize how long these three games will take to get out, Versus might not come out until 2011 which would irritate me to death...

The story of what we know so far quote Mataeus from ff-xiii.net
(sighs) guess not many ppl read my first Famitsu translations.. oh well for the sake of others, i will put it up here
(Agito XIII) Year 842, Lunar Month, Militiz empire, holder of the Perishtrimu Byakko began a massive invasion into Suzaku’s capital Rubrum. ( Trailer shows Militz as a Post WWII Germany-like country
This move seriously violated the Allianz nations’ peace treaty as signed by the four nations “ The Seal of Peace” which ensures stability in the lands.
The Militz General single-handedly entered the battle and successfully rendered Phoenix’s crystal useless.
The Rubrum army was severed of magic. Though the Perishtrimu Suzaku has fortification abilities but unable to unleash any counterattacks, it was constantly suppressed (Earlier images have shown the academy surrounded by a crystal dome)
A small group eventually was formed inside the Perishtrimu Suzaku and thus begin their battle to free their capital
Captions in pictures (Pg 9, trailer impressions shows a tactical map highlighting a path taken by The Militz Empire using Lucien to surpass the boundaries and the Magic armour bridgade directly to a city. The word Rubrum comes up along with the Chinese character of Suzaku. Three other words Kogai, Yamyan and Amaze are also visible on screen) Further observations will see the names of other locations on the map even teh main capital for each nation
(With its magic source severed by the Militiz army, the Suzaku crystal is rendered powerless. The crystal fragments rain down like teardrops on the main character who has a shocked expression on his face)
(Pg 10, The group of students seen in earlier images are the students of the Suzaku academy. It is said that because they wish to become The Awakens, they underwent strict training. However, details at this stage are unconfirmed.
(Their clothes bear the symbol of the Suzaku with a gear around it) (Being surrounded by countless soldiers and flames, it looks as if the situation is very dire. But the students drew out their weapons, choosing instead to live) This is the same picture in the banner
“ They bear the blessing of the Crystal in them”
The Perishtrimu Byakko army that wear Magic assisted armour. The nations in the Olianz mainland have varying cultures and technology. The Militiz empire that attacked Rubrum is a very advanced society in machinations and not only do the soldiers use machine guns, they even have machines that work on magic. On the other hand, the Perishtrimu Suzaku uses magic. If this is so, does this mean they specialize in summoning??
After FF III, almost all the series had the appearance of Odin but Agito reveals a new God of war, The Shilanbu Neo (close up shots reveals that this god has a skull face)
In this series, all the characters have the ability to cast summon. And according to supervisor Motomo Yoriyama, the summon is able to appear beside teh character and assist in battle. The system has also incorporated Summon junctions so even if it is the same summon by two person, their powers will vary due to the player’s skill.
With the addition of doing battles with the White Tiger army, the game will also involve the classical monster battles. You can see from the picture left that character using a chain sword Also, there is an indication of a timer appear next to the commands
The Ultimate weapon : Ragnarok ( Made its appearance in FFVI, Ragnarok made its appearance as a summon, but is definitely worth using the Mp gauge for in Agito under the command bar)
The name “Commader Cid of Militiz” appeared on the TGS trailer
The mainland of Oriance has four nations, each having their own Perishtrimu. Suzaku, Byakko are listed as one of the four celestial guardians so the natural assumption is that the remaining guardians are Seiryu and Genbu.
In the TGS trailer, the supreme commander of the White Tiger army tried to persuade Rubrum in dispersing their armies and surrendering to Militz __________________ quote Lockhart
Ahh.....okey. This time I didn't know that you're talking about "Others". Lol People on this forum like Cruxis Mana, Shuyu, among many others have heard about this game from the start, we have waited a long time for these games. We have a little bit of hope for FFXIII, but Versus and Agito are nowhere in sight. That can lose the hype train pretty quickly...
