Hehehe. I'm going to follow MGS to the PS3 as well. I'm going to have to wait a couple of months before I have enough, by the looks of it. Hopefully in the near future, a Tenchu exclusive will be released for the PS3, so that all of the consoles can have their own original Tenchu title.

Well you'll be glad to hear that this new tenchu is part of a planned trilogy and they're also planning a tenchu z sequel, hopefully for PS3

Of course none of this is confirmed yet.

Damn... They just want to yank your chain until they feel it is time to let you loose. Hype for something that isn't even confirmed is not fun- Like Shadow of the Colossus 2.. At least Tenchu 4 is confirmed, with a bit of evidence of its progress, so there's no surprise there

If so what did you think of the first person fighting?

Yeah, I saw it. It was amazing!!! The first person thing looks like it is going to be awkward, but it should make attacks a bit more precise than 3rd-person attacks.

That video does look impressive!

... I don't know about this 1st person battle thing... It may be more precise than a 3rd person battle, but i don't like it. The boss battles were always a highlight of the Tenchu series, i really hope they do not take away from that.

But this 1st person thing looks pretty cool. I can't say how fun its gonna be till I've played it though. Hopefully it won't become repetitive and annoying.

I'd be upset too, but from watching the video, obviously they are not taking out 3rd person fighting. The only thing I am curious about is how 1st person is used- is it something you can switch to whenever you want, or does the gameplay switch to 1st person at certain parts of the game?

Well, from what I understand, thats what happens when your spotted...but like you said they showed something of 3rd person fighting so theres no way to be sure.

Oh yeah, i agree. Without 3rd person fights, the boss battles would not be so epic. I really hope they know what they are doing...
