Hm, that steam and fog bit made me think of some other uses for the detective vision. Also, it made me wish for the Blackout Bombs that Bats picked up from Doctor Mid-Nite.

I hope to almighty Thor that they just refrained from including this in the console demos but it's in the actual games.

Apparently that PhysX engine is only PC compatible but I hope they got these mechanics into the console versions one way or another. It would kind of suck to have those great graphics with completely static environments. It would be kind of like MKvsDCU; great graphics ruined by terrible animations, only here it would be partially ruined by lack of animations.

Wow. Those are so pretty awesome effects, especially the paper on the ground and the destructable environments. Would it really be too tough to do stuff like this on the console versions?

It's not something that is a game-breaker or anything, but after seeing this video, I am definitely going to be thinking in the "What if" mode here and there.

I WANT THAT IN MY GAME!

I think it adds more to the atmosphere, and that's something this game truly makes use of.

The thing is the Playstation 3 can run PhysX. Heavy Rain the almighty PS3 exclusive runs on the PhysX engine. So the PS3 can do it, not to start a flame war I trust we are all adults here that it's not in the console versions because of equality. The Xbox 360 cannot run it as PhysX is an Nvidia technology and the Xbox 360 runs on ATi which cannot run the technology. It also explains why the PC version of Mirrors Edge uses PhysX and the console versions don't even though the Playstation 3 can use it perfectly.

Equality is the only excuse I can think of. Microsoft would not want a technology being used that they cannot run. I mean this technology doesn't just make the game look better looking it looks so much more immersive. It makes me wonder if there is something going on behind the scenes stopping the Playstation 3 from using this in multiplatform games.

Aw man, I seriously wish it were in the console versions (or at least those capable). I don't play games on the PC. My computer is work basically.

EDITED TO ADD:
The equality thing, I don't like that reason. I like the different consoles because of their variety, not because they're all the same!
