Currently, my screen area is set at 640x480. I have tried to increase it, but it won't go any further. Please email me back on how to resolve this problem.

Exactly what steps have you taken, what happens when you try those steps, and what type of monitor do you have?

I suggest booting up into safe mode (assuming you are running Windows 9x) and going into your System Properties menu ( Start->Settings->Control Panel->System ). Check under the heading "Monitors" for multiple entries. If you are using only one monitor on your system and there is more than one monitor entries, remove them all and reboot into Windows. Then try adjusting your resolution again.

what size monitor do you have? Your monitor and/or your video card may be your bottleneck!

could be your monitor, some supposedly plug and play monitors incorrectly report the modes they can support. try this -

right-click on screen
chose properties
in display properties choose settings
click advanced
select the moitor tab
uncheck the box marked 'hide modes that this monitor cannot display'

see if you can now select a resolution > 640*480. Take care though and check the modes your monitor does support, if you pick one that it really cannot support there is an outside chance of damaging it.
