For those of you who aren't a big fan of Loungin or who are not aware of the event going on there, I've decided to post up this thread to gather more site-wide attention to this event. This could really become something benefits the site in a positive way, and I hope that it will continue to spread communal growth across all of the forums, with such a diverse array of members participating.

Yes, this is a very dandy event that I definitely encourage all to check out at one point or another. It's a fun process, both to witness and participate in.

I didn't really participate much last year, but I might watch more this year. I guess for me it really depends on who makes it through the prelims and become actual candidates for the spot.

^ I would say actually that the preliminaries are just as exciting, if not more exciting than the final vote. At least, last year they definitely were. All the primaries were really close and tense, but unfortunately by the time we got to the main vote, it was honestly pretty clear who was going to run away with the title. Of course, this was all based on what happened during the primaries, so who is to say this year.

It looks like we're headed for some more exciting ones too.

Have to admit that the votes are easy. I already know who I am voting for, likely regardless of whoever they choose to have as a vice president.

I see. I guess that changes things a little. ;p

Prelims are still fun to witness though.

This is really what you make of it. If you put a little time/enthusiasm into a particular party/candidate it's very enjoyable. I highly suggest participation.

So what actually happens, a vote happens in a few days to decide who gets picked out of the party?

Basically, yes. One party at a time. A thread will be created and left open for discussion and debate, voting occurs via PM, while Ryancola periodically updates the totals as votes rush in. At least, that is how it carried out last year.
