A few players to take a look at are Hérold Goulon, John Kyriacou, Steve Wales & Dan Spence who were all free agents in the first couple of months in the game. Also take a look at the reserves of teams in League 2 & the BSP and you might bag yourself a bargain, I got Nathan Jarman (Grimsby), Jefferson Louis (Wrexham), Matty Collins (Swansea) and Martin Riley (Kidderminster) all on free transfers.

The best thing I can recommend though, is to get 2 scouts (the maximum the board allows you to get) with the highest 'judging player ability' you can find. Set them to scout England for players with a max value of £0. That's how I found pretty much all the players I signed.

In better news though, beating Derby 1-0 through Dean Shiels has now put me 4th in the Championship.

EDIT: 3-3 draw against Reading. Cameback from 2-0 down. Hayter, Nieuwstadt and Appiah got the goals for us. Had three penalty shouts turned down.

Sullivan is injured for 2 to 3 weeks... Ben Smith will be recalled from his recent loan move to Cheltenham. Looks like Ferrand will have more first team games. I am now 5th in the Championship, Reading are 12th, and I am now 5games unbeaten.

Might start a league one game soon though. I loved them on 08 and I haven't done one on 09 properly yet... Except Leeds but that's not really challenging

Got a bit bored of my TNS game. I've won the League 3 times and got to the Champions League Third Qualifying round, but it's going to take about 20 seasons to get into the group stages. I don't really want to be playing a full, easy, league season just to play some qualifiers.

Are there any other smaller leagues with a slightly higher rep than Wales people can recommend? Preferably with the usual August-May season.
