This looks really great! I cant wait to start a new game! However despite your earlier warning of downloading the database first, i still downloaded the superpack first and now i have to wait a whole 15 mins until i can download again.

Nice start, WF, only conceding one goal. Of course your team is ridiculous.

I think that a lot of people are going to enjoy managing in the J-League because the academy system in Japan is going to produce a lot of very talented regens.

And Bosnar bounced around to Croatia and then had a good run in Holland before moving on to Japan. He really hasn't had a bad career at all compared to what I expected from him, huzzer.

How do you know so much about Bosnar cp.

The Database is excellant by the way! BUt not too many players want to join me because jef is a smaller club. I've signed a Brazilian called Mauricio on free and he's a talented youngster.

Research for this project mostly.

I remembered his brief time at Everton for some reason because he was so tall so I was happy to see him turn up at JEF.

JEF happen to be the next club for the guide so everyone can expect a screenshot of Mr Bosnar shortly on the first page. You know, in case you want to build an army of Australians. Because I know how you Aussies are.

I planned to but since there's only three foreign players I probably won't .

With Velaphi in goal you can at least send four Aussies out there out of your first 11, thats not a bad ratio at all.

I'm going to take a break from the guide for the rest of the day so those of you who were waiting patiently for Albirex or Montedio will have to check back tomorrow. And I strongly advise you to since those two clubs have some good players that you may be interested in poaching if nothing else.

In return for my laziness though I give you this, its the final kit missing from JL1, Montedio Yamagata. Dec finished it up today so you may as well download it to complete your set. Montedio kit

Except I"ve bought a foreigner and no one wants to buy my other foreigner so i'll only end up with 2 Australians.

Mauricio is class so you're right, you have to play him.

Alex is rubbish though, I'd give him away for nothing and bring in more Aussies.

Always check the autosave before you panic, WF. Its saved my game, literally, on more than one occasion.

Had time to finish the guide while I was waiting for the girlfriend to get ready to go out.

All of you Albirex and Montedio fans can thank her instead of me...I'll probably put up guides to a few JL2 clubs in a future post but for now just refer to the first page for all of your J-League walkthrough needs.

re: [J-League Database] New Graphics update! J-League 1 Database completed! And J-League 1 Guide!

I leave for a couple of days and my thread dies so I'm going to bump it since I started a game with Gamba this morning while everyone else is asleep.

I missed out on Kagawa (Seoul), Nagatomo (Antlers), Araiba (Urawa), and Mu Kanazaki (Jubilo) so the transfer market hasn't been particularly kind to me but I have managed to bring in a few decent frees like Trabelsi and Sandro Hiroshi and I splashed the cash on Taniguchi.

Most importantly I've managed to extend Endo and Myojin and keep the vultures away from them for the time being.

My largest project has been upgrading my coaching staff and I'm extremely pleased with the results.

So this is how I'm going to be deployed to start the season...the emphasis is really going to be allowing Endo to dominate the ball and make things happen.

Just finished my season opener away at S-Pulse and I picked up a comfortable 3-1 victory that could've been much worse. Endo scored a brace and Taniguchi added 1 in his debut even though he missed two open nets. Grampus did me a favour as well by picking up a 1-0 win at Antlers.
