Is anything going to happen with the interviews thread? As in, is anybody doing an interview slash wanting to be interviewed? Or is it all just in limbo while the merge thing is in the pipeline?

It seems that the merge is an excuse for nothing to occur in the forum for the time being, since it seems like most things are on hold until we find out what's happening with the merge.

There's a not-very-fine line between an excuse and a reason. Supermods are currently considering the forum merge project, so we're waiting to hear from them for the time being.
If you want something new to occur in the forum, we're open to suggestions. The reason why the competition hosting list is empty is not because we're not accepting entries, it's because people can't be bothered to host something themselves. So let's not blame the merge for everything. As for the interview thread, Euphoric, Katastrophe had offered to revamp the thread once he's less busy with FM10 (which does make me consider the possibility of alternatives, as the first weeks of that forum will be frantic -anyway, I'll speak to him and see how it goes) but, truth be told, given our relatively limited community, we can't keep one alive for a very long time. ------------------- quote AlexC  | |

I'm sure I said I'd interview some people to get the interview thread up and going again. We don't really have a limited community, looking at the people interviewed and the top ten posters in this forum, only 2 of the top ten posters have actually been interviewed. Meaning their are 8 other well known members that have yet to be interviewed.

It's quite different to what I've seen so far. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of it or not, but it does look like an interesting concept at least.

Good evening fellow Football Manager Social forum members, I come to you at a time where this forum seems to be dying. Gone are the days of high activity, interesting threads and generally fun members. This forum seems to be declining, by each passing day more of the members that helped to establish this forum seem to wander off into the sunset, disillusioned by the way the forum has turned out. Their is hope however, from out of the sunset comes a member, a veteran of these forums who believes that change and progress can be made.
