aww come on guys, this game is an absolute classic! brilliant single player, wonderful atmospheric grainy-ness, the best monsters, dark and shadowy, fantastic level design. come on! anyone?

i lost my quake but i still love it

Its been a long time since I played Quake on my DC, but hey its outdated now. Why would I? Theres only so much this game has to offer.

Beam this into FILE MEMBRAIN. Quake is BAss, a never ending ruler, if you can Comprehend, clear out your hard drive.

I finally bought my certified copy not to long ago and i have to say it was the best $1.99 i've ever spent for software LOL

but yes i still play it today but mainly for all the relic mods that were done for it that are just too cool to quit

yeah! who doesnt love to shoot lightning at one of those idiot wolf things. This game was awesome. A beautiful mix of mythic evil and modern stuff with nearly no story whatsoever! yay!

Quake 3 looks to be a real winner as well. I look forward to that one.

I love Quake. I've been playing it since 1996. I still play, but almost never nowadays.

My favorite part about Quake is the physics when shooting human opponents. I ~LOVE~ how you can make your opponent fly all over the place with rocket juggling and thunderbolt precision.

The best is when you shoot your opponent in the feet to make them fly straight up, and then nail them mid-air with a rocket to explode their gutties all over the map!!!
