Can somebody tell me how to play Quake online direct from Quakeworld. I have tried, without being successful

dude u don't need winquake. winquake is a NETQUAKE version, not QUAKEWORLD. And you don't need gamespy either. U can simply get quakeworld ip's by going to google and typing in quakeworld servers, the first link will be o gameaholic, go there. if you need any more help try www.quakeone.com

I like to use the "More QuakeWorld" client, since it has a built-in server browser and many other yummy tidbits.
