Nice to see someone else is getting the game beside me.
I like the idea of summoning two demons instead of one at the same time and that negotiating with demons is made trough talking with them, unlike how it worked in the first one. I wonder if there is going to be voice acting in this game? P.S.- The Raiho plushie doll is really cute. -------------------

I never got a chance to play the first one, which is why I'm super excited to play this one. It seems like a really interesting idea to be able to summon two demons at once to help you out and how you actually have to negotiate with them instead of just obtaining them.
I really hope they do. A well voiced game really helps me get more involved into the game as it helps each characters personality help stand out even more. It's going to look good next to my Teddie plush! ------------------- ![]()

True, good voice acting allows the player to get involved more into the story; unfortunately most dubbed games have terrible voice acting, there are only few exceptions to this.
The first one didn't feature voice acting at all, but it would be nice to see decent voice acting on this one. -------------------

Luckily I've found the past two Persona games to have pretty good voice acting (for the most part), so if this one does turn out to have voice acting I hope it's as good or as better as those two had.
The game is supposed to basically be only 80 hours long, I have a feeling I'll be going way past that though. >_>' ------------------- ![]()

That's according to Amazon's description anyways.
What's weird is that just this morning you could still pre-order it from them, but just checking it now they took the pre-order off and you can now only sign up when it's available. Apparently you can also fuse the personas together to make new ones like in the persona games and a "MAG balancing system". Was it like that in the first Devil Summoner one too? Edit: Hopefully this doesn't double post... my dialup died and it said my first try didn't work. XD ------------------- ![]()

Yeah you could fuse demons in order to create new demons in the first one(fusing is almost standard when it comes to SMT games). You could also fuse them into your weapon in order to improve it.
Regarding the MAG system, it affects summoning, a certain demons costs certain MAG points. Of course the DS2 MAG system is supposedly going to be more balanced, so I don't know how it will exactly work until I see the game. -------------------

Okay, I kind of understand the old MAG in regard to the points, can't wait to see what the new system brings.
I just got an email from Atlus and apparently the official site is up and running as well as the trailer. The screenshots in the email are amazing and I can't wait to check out the website and trailer. I'm getting more excited by the day! ------------------- ![]()

Slightly saddened that nobody else has joined us here, but there's still a few months left for that to change.
This will be a fun experience for me to have with all the features and other things I never got to try out before. Time is going by too slow! ------------------- ![]()

re: NA Release |

Nice to see another face here, QuizzyFan8!
For those who don't know, in Japan this game was released with a new edition of SMT Nocturne where Dante from the Devil May Cry games was replaced with Raidou. It's a shame it probably won't be released outside of Japan, even though Raidou has all the same skills as Dante, he can actually learn Pierce which allows you to damage Lucifer the extra end-boss, making him more useful. As far as I know that's the only new addition to Nocturne, it still has the same 6 endings as the previous edition. If it were to be released outside of Japan would you buy it? -------------------
