A Question about the Plume |
|
I'm new to this game, and I'm on chapter 1.
I'm making this question now, cuz I don't want to re-start a new game if I make a mistake. I needed to use the plume to sacrifice Wil's friend, and well. How this works, what do I lose if I use the plume? what are the benefits? on the other characters I get, is it ok to use the plume on them? I mean.. Will I have regrets? Thank you, Thigas ------------------- ![]() Challenge me at My Brute!

you'll lose the character ofcourse, but with sacrificing that char you'll gain a special tactic.
I'm not sure but I think using the plume more than 3 times = gameover. Its also very possible to go thru the game your 1st try without using the plume, not as hard as it sounds

Yeah that's true man but that 3 plume usage quote is per chapter IIRC so dont get cocky about that. Just be safe and merciful.

The best way to go about this game is to not use the plume and go for the double sin rewards and after a while getting minimum sin will be incredibly easy as well as the game itself so you don't have to worry about the last chapters' double sin prizes if you don't want to.
once you understand the mechanics and the various gameplay elements you should breeze through most of the game as it is far from difficult.

game's got a bit of a learning curve to it (I was ready to rip my hair out at one point) but once you get the hang of it, its not that bad. first time playing through, i would say hit all but the 3 chrs you like the best with the plume to get their skills. If you play through enough times you can have all of the sac tactics and won't have any use for sacrificing people (well, unless you WANT to have wyl sent to hell for his sins)
also get double the sin for bonus prizes. sacrificing someone to the plume gives you the sin quota. Also, once you beat the game and save, you keep the items you have and the skills the characters have learned, which makes playing through again much easier. (too easy when you have everyone dressed up in the best gear from the beginning) I havent unlocked the seraphic gate yet, so i'll have to assume its rougher than the main story. (i'm hoping anyway) ------------------- Me busy, leave me alone! Don't look behind that curtain... crap.
