	I'm also having the same problem although your suggested fix isn't helping? When installing the game the start up is pretty lengthy. When game installed I try to begin and I get the FATAL: string man... error message? I've changed my settings as suggested in the games properties and it dosen't seem to help? I'm running Vista which I think is the problem. Anyway, I've recently purchased C&C3 and can't play it due to this reocurring issue. Plse help someone

	I downloaded the SDK MOD Kit and WorldBuilder and uninstalled both, couldnt really get either to work anyways, and worked fine afterwards if anyone went that way. Thx...

	right clicking on the icon and slecting "run as admin" works for me on windows 7 starter!! thank you so much!
