i cannot open, uninstall, or reinstall RA2 because this thing comes up saying, "Cannot find game directory"

First is the westwood folder still on your hard drive? if so delete it and any shortcuts, and start menu folders then try again

uhhh, i deleted every file, and when i put in the CD, it goes to the menu, it says the normal stuff as it would if it was installed. Play, uninstall etc. But when i clicked either of those, it says cannot find game directory, and when i click play, it says RA2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. I did the search my computer to see if there were any files that have to do with RA2 and there arent

I have this problem where its encountered an error,i bought the game orginally but woldnt work so i went to downloading it,atleast when i downloaded it,it installed.So i clicked the game to start it up and...yeh the same message is up -.-

My friend who had halo,this came up for him.Apparently the game needs something that ur computer hasnt got,maybe some sort of direct x 7? or w/e

Check your registry
