Firstly, I'm aware that this forum is almost dead, but I noticed the late activity in here this year which surprised me, so I'll post in hope of some response.

I'm looking for both of the items in the title of this message. To my dismay, I've recently discovered they can't be made by Grandpa, whom I spent an hour with last night.

So I'm wondering if it is possible to Data Drain these items, or if they can be obtained through Gott Statues.

The reason I ask about the Gott Statues, is because I found a level 33 Stormlord Helm at a level 30 Dungeon(Can't remember the name now). So I'm hoping to find some level 30 Thunder dungeons and look around for a while.

I've also obtained a number of Electric Guards(Lv. 33 Shoes) from Data Drains, so I can only assume that the other level 33 items could possibly come from monsters.

I'm just not too sure of which monsters or exactly where I should look, so any and all help would be appreciated.
I need 2 Hands of Storm and Thunder Armor, both.

I think that they're both obtainable by data drain, I forgot exactly what monsters to DD though. Try looking in a FAQ that has a listing of weapons/armor, or looking in the Ryo book that lists what monsters drop after DD and seeing how you can get it that way.

Seems my assumptions were correct, I can get at least one Thunder Armor from a Gott Statue, but that means I need to fiddle around with combinations for a while >_<

According to the FAQ I can trade Teria for Hands of Storm, but I have to go get 10 more Sports Drinks(Joy)

And I don't know why I didn't think of checking my Ryu Book, so thank you for reminding me

While I'm at it, can you(or anybody that reads this) recall a good area for Pure Water grinding? ;
I need a decent area for collecting them so I can make the final book trades. 50+/30mins-hr would be nice, and I know there are areas like that because I'm collecting Sports Drinks at one right now.

I've read up on lots of Elemental item FAQ's and each of them say Quiet Eternal White-Devil, but I'm not exactly sure if that's the most reliable place. Though I've only been there once..

For Pure Waters, try higher level dungeons that are water element. I found a lot of Sports Drinks, Pure Waters, and the elemental boosters when smashing crates and things in the dungeons, and the item depended on the element the field and monsters in the dungeon was. If you find another of the elemental booster items, it means that's the only kind that will be in this dungeon (ie sports drinks means there won't be any pure waters in the dungeon, etc).
