i am on the last part of the milk run and am heading for home base but i have very little fuel. even when i avoid the red areas i still get attacked by nazi planes. this means i lose all my fuel and fail. has anyone got any tips on getting past this?

You can't. That is the way the game goes.

but there has to be some way of getting past this, or is this how the games ends?!!

Well, you have to fend off the fighters until you can't fire anymore and someone announces that the plane is out of fuel, then you parachute out of the plane, leading into the next mission.

You don't. You're falling with the parachute open at the beginning of the next mission.

but when im playing the voice announces that i have no fuel and the plane crashes , meaning i have to start again!

You're supposed to encounter a massive, overwhelming swarm to German fighters. At one point you can't fire anymore and some one says you have to bail out. Sorry, I can't help much more than that.

just fly straight to the base- no avoiding and eventualy u will get into a dogfight. finish it then ur done.

0172 he means that he runs out of fuel b4 the cutscene... i think

I have the same exact problem, in the dogfight i can get all but 2 and then i run out of fuel

i have half of a fuel tank left when i enter the dog fight
