I just take it like a man, lol. I think I've suceeded in one invsion out of like 10. Granted that 1 was the only one where it was 1v1. Every other time I get DPed by the host and a Blue Phantom.

my thief is heavily DEX based, but i find magic dmg is a better hybrid for PvE and PvP. everyone uses warding... or pulls the cable.. cowards..

Yea that's all people been doing lately i had about 30 pvp match's on Halloween 6 of then quit there game like little school girls on there period!

The str/dex requirements stated for the compound long bow is wrong even in the guide. It stopped saying I could not use it properly at Str of 16 not 22 as the guide says. I think the guide is written for one-handed use but bows are obviously always two-handed so.

Colourless on a white bow is a waste you need dex of 24 just to use it and with that dex an upgraded sticky do more damage anyway unless maybe if you got an obscenely high str.

Adjudicator's Shield +5 is always handy but lack fire def so you need an alternative sometimes

Dark Silver Shield +5 is very good for non offensive magic users.

Blind + 5 for people with good dex. Can be good in PvP.

Large Sword of Moonlight +5 Very good for Priest/Temple Knight kind of characters (high Faith)

Kris Blade +5 for offensive magicians or hyper magicians.

Phosphorescent Pole +5 Decent weapon for magicians.

DB Smasher +5 & Bramd +5 are not worth it for anyone imo. They give some boost for fire/poison & plague defence but here are better big slow heavy damage weapons out there like the Meat Clever.

dark silver sheild

white bow

large sword of moonlight( if u have high faith)

istarelle spear

magic sword of makoto.

OK Guys I need help on deciding what to spend my colourless demon souls on, I've got two so far and i want to upgrade either the Dark silver shield or the Adjudicator's Shield. My class is a Knights with my two highest stats in str and dex but the way i've upped my stats i've gone with a jack of all trades so what should up?

Dark Silver Shield IMO.

The Adjudicator's Shield will be better if you use a weapon that drain your HP. So if you use the Magic Sword Makoto, or the Hitless then this is better for you.

i totally agree with cangri, DSS is the way to go.

Being my 7th or so play through, I've had a lot of Colorless Souls to use. So far I have upgraded to +5 the Dark Silver Shield, Adjudicator's Shield, Rune Shield (I have different shields for different situations) and the Large Sword of Moonlight. I have about 10 or so colorless souls left right now, and am unsure what to upgrade, as I don't really need anything else.

lol i never switch from DSS, or my base armor. i only switch my rings regularly.

If you dont want anything else then them to someone, get the miracle that req 3. or use them to Lv

I use Purple Flame Shield +10 unless I know my foe will be using magic against me. The Purple Flame shield might have a higher weight, but you can take harder blows and lose less stamina, and it also negates far more fire damage (this shield makes Flamelurker a joke). I pull out DSS when I know an enemy will be fighting me with magic damage, as it negates magic damage. However, DSS +5 cuts your magic damage output down by half, so if you are a mage at all, don't cast with it out. Adjudicator's Shield +5 is for running around that PITA swamp in 5-2, I only upgraded it because I had plenty of colorless souls laying around.
