Well on some of the online videos I have watched, after the player kills an invading Black Phantom he puts Soul Remains or something that looks like Soul Remains where the Black Phantom died. Does this do something? I really don't think it does, but I just wanted to make sure.

I'm not pro here but I believe soul remains attracts people looking for souls if I read right.
Kinda like when hunters use deer scent to attract other deers.. | |
