	_{Mining is one of the many activities in all Harvest Moon games, and also one of the best ways to make money! =D To me, mining is the best part of Harvest Moon. Forget getting married! I'd rather spend my days working my character to death collecting whatever I can to make money, or to show off. If Harvest Moon games didn't have mining, I'd likely not play them. D: Mining is what keeps me interested in the games. So, what's your opinion on mining? Do you like it, dislike it, or are you indifferent? Do you think it's a vital part of HM, or do you think the games could go without it? Discuss.}

	I did mine a lot in Harvest Moon: DS, because I'd really want to find jewelry that sold for a whopping 2000 G each. But in Tree of Tranquility, there isn't as much fun in the mining I found. -------------------

	I mined only if there were special things which would give me a lot of money in the game ^__^;, other than that, I sadly wasn't very interested in mining, yet it is an EXCELLENT feature in the game ! ------------------- Updated: Neohome 6

	I mined a lot in MFoMT but the dead ends drove me round the bend and back again. HMDS put me off mining with it's evil animals and such. MM has to be the game I found most interesting to mine in. ^^ I really like that mining is a part of HM, so, no I don't think HM could go with out it. ♫ -------------------

	In HM DS I would Mine every day until I was about to pass out. I would get a lot of money from it. But in another wonderful life I didn't worry about mining to much. 	I always found mining to be awesome in HM64, HMDS, and ToT. However, the mining in AWL was awful. Nothing was worth much and it was boring and the only benefit was an extra dog in the last year of the game. ------------------- Endless Blade Works

	I know it was fairly annoying, but it was way too easy without them xD. I believe a lot of the newer Harvest Moon games have geysers too though xD! ------------------- Updated: Neohome 6

	Mining is probably one of my favorite parts of the game i always feel so accomplished when i make it to the bottom of the mine =D but i do agree it can get really annoying after a while. ------------------- *~Credits to Element97~*

	I love mining in Magical Melody. You can skip levels if you want to, and there's a lot of jewels and ores. It's a shame that you only have access to the underground lake mine in the winter, though. I love hunting around for rubies, emeralds, and diamonds. I love going for the ores and jewels that sell the highest. In the Winter, all I do is mine around for the whole day and stock up on high energy foods. =D But in the AWLs, though, I find mining boring. You're just in there for a couple real-life minutes, and then you're done. The things you find don't even sell for much. I just go in the mine to give items to Nami, and make the rain stop when it gets annoying. XD ------------------- Ionia

	I forgot to mention, in ToT you also have the option of going up one level or back to the start by using the stairs. This makes it easier to avoid levels that are ONLY geysers. (Level 7 ) ------------------- Endless Blade Works

	Haha yeah, there's a level in the underground mine in MM, level ten, I believe. There aren't any stairs, so you have to bring your hoe with you to find the hidden entrance. That's why I always bring my hoe with me in fear that I'll have to go up again and start all over >__< ------------------- Ionia

	Mining is too easy is some games, and then too difficult in other games. I would like to fall only about 1-5 floors, same with geysers. I would like there tobe 200 floors for an ideal mine. I like the stairs idea too, so I hope something similar to this gets implemented in the future ^^! ------------------- Updated: Neohome 6

	_{The only good way to go down the mines is to use the holes, not the stairs. The only exception is if you're playing HM:DS and searching for something that can only be found on certain floors of the mine. Otherwise holes in the floor > digging for stairs. Magical Melody mining was horrible, as was AWL. The mines were so unsatisfying. HM:DS and FoMT are where it's at for mining. =D}
