	A new Thread to discuss your story ideas in, and get some feedback from others. For those of you who are feeling nostalgic, you can find the old thread here. The last subject was posted by shandy: quote shandy I've got two ideas.. making a new club based on the 'Spartans' yes the ancient greeks. this would be a sign up and all players would be given 20 for obvious attributes like strength determination bravery etc. then you choose 1 playing attribute e.g. finishing. if anyone would be interested in participating pm me and if i feel theres enough interest then i may well do it. or my other idea is to create a db that would put valencia in debt by 200m but im struggling to get that to work. if anyone has any ideas please pm me. thanks. havent decided yet though, ------------------- Kick the can, kick the can, skip and blackjack Steal a car and ring a round-rosey Rock and roll, candyland, boogeyman Run away and give me your sneakers

	I am looking for things to keep me interested in the game. Towards the end of FM 2008 I started an Academy and it was going well, but the release of FM 2009 killed it. A lot of people were impressed with it, though it was no more than your standard academy SOMS with regular updates, good screen-shots and a nice layout. Now I am looking to do another Academy. What I want though is something to make it different and make it stand out from the others. Something you have to understand about my academy is that I will keep it up as long as I am able, it wont simply go away due to boredom or some such. I need ideas from you to differentiate this academy from others. You really need something to make it different. Nearlly all the beginners SOMS start the same way. A manger is sacked, released, resigns and a bunch of former players and managers are listed with their odds of being signed as the new boss. Then some unknown (The Neo Manager) is given the job. What procedes is a standard pre-season update, with signings, hopes for the future and sometimes interviews with players and staff. Most generally tail off after the half-way point of a season as it is tough work providing sufficient updates as well as playing the game yourself. 	I think you should concentrate on your Head to Head thread and just make a SOMS out of that. West Ham have great potential and by having other people involved it increases the popularity of the thread. I would use the West Ham one as a test for working out your preferred layout and style before launching into a fully fledged SOMS with Forrest. 	Looking for new ideas to stop this one going stale like all my other soms. Do people think it would work to jump around to particular matches, skipping some and having flash backs to past stages of Kerry Dixon's career just so I can miss out the boring bits?

If nothing comes up that I like, I will simply do your standard academy, just because I need something to keep me going. you could always look at my idea at the top. and have a spartans football academy. if you're not aware, the spartans were the strongest bravest and fiercest of all fighters in their day. you simply give all academy members high attributes at 19 and 20 for bravery aggression strength etc. then the rest is up to you. ------------------- “Pain is temporary.
