Please read all these rules before posting, as they will benefit you in the long run. Please read the Forumwide Rules of Conduct, Etiquette And Acceptable Behavior before posting as well. Spamming Don't spam the forums. Spam is the posting of advertisements, abusive, or unneeded messages on the forums. Generally, when you spam, you add messages to the threads that are unnecessary and add no discussion value whatsoever. "Ok", "Yeah", and "lol" are all examples of spam. Try to add some substance to your post before you submit it. Some examples of spam are -
2. Off-topic posts 3. Flooding the forum 4. One word messages Flooding Flooding the forum is the process of excessively posting everywhere in the forum. This happens when members try to get in the top forum poster list, want to see there name all over the forum, or to raise your post count. Give your peers a chance to participate in the forum! When you flood, your posts are likely to be spam which is strongly discouraged. This forum is a community and other people like to participate and discuss things too, so always keep that in mind.
Flaming Flaming is a hostile and insulting interaction between you and your fellow members. When you flame someone, you make them feel bad by insulting them, laughing at them, or just having a bad attitude with them for no reason. This forum has a younger audience, so watch what you say and think before you say it. This act will NOT be tolerated and you will face the consequences for flaming. Examples of flaming -

I suggest taking a look at this thread as it will answer your question. :)" Game Threads If you are thinking about starting up a game thread or something similar, be sure to get permission from the current forum moderator. The game needs to be approved and the moderator needs to make sure that it is appropriate for the forum and we need to check if the forum already has too many game threads. You can PM the current forum moderator and share your idea with them and they will either give you the okay or say that it is not needed right now.
2. Only a few game threads will be in the forum at a time. A forum filled with game threads does not mix well with other discussions. Guide To Gang Making [»] Are you ready to make a gang? This may sounds weird at first, but are you really ready to make your own gang? It may seem at first to you that it just looks as if it is all fun, and you will just lay back and relax. Well unfortunately, to become a successful gang (which I suppose you want to do) then it's much more to that. You need a few skills to be a good leader; organization and politeness being major ones. Also, a lot of time will be needed to put in for your gang to be successful. You will need to make sure that all your members are happy with what you, as a gang, are currently doing. After reading this, if you still feel like you have the qualities to become a gang leader and create your own gang, then read on. [»] Uniqueness This for me is without a doubt the biggest factor to a successful gang and to stay away from being an unsuccessful gang. This can be quite challenging, but with the right thinking you can easily achieve this. If your gang has just ripped-off a successful gang name, then you will not be successful and members will see this straight away and just basically not want to join. Within the gang, you will also want to try and be unique. Setting up unique tourneys, games etc. involving the game will attract new members to join and will get you on the right road to becoming a successful gang. [»] First post The first post of your gang is very important. This first post could actually affect how many members you will get in your gang. YOU MUST make your first post organized. An example of this would be here and here. You must to try and include in your first few posts;
quote What your first post shouldn't be That's not very attractive, and is just plain with no color etc. To make your first post even better you could also have a header (Picture at the top of your gang) This picture would represent your gang and would basically be a sort of symbol for your gang. It is not needed, and is not as important as other things mentioned, but it would make your gang seem more organized. Color can be very effective to your first post, but is without a doubt not needed. But if you are able to use it well, then it looks much better then plain writing. Useful links are at the bottom to help you with that. [»] Members Before you even post up your gang, you will want to make sure you have at least three people that will join your crew. This is a must, no exceptions will be made. It's nice to have members for your gang from the start to keep it active, which I will talk about in a minute. If you have members posting in your gang from the start, people will notice you and consider joining your gang. When you first start recruiting members, you would probably need them to fill out a little form with information on Animal Crossing City Folk. Just give a little guideline in your first post which new members should fill out. This form should say; quote Application form new members should fill in When a member has filled this in, then (with your consult) that member would now be a member of your gang. You will want to know also add them to your members list. What you expect from your members is up to you, but I highly suggest that every member in your gang is active. What I mean by this is that all the members are posting nearly every time they can. If a member isn't active in your gang, what's the point in them being there? I would suggest you just get rid of inactive members. There is no limit of members that can be in a gang, so the limit is up to you. I suggest you limit your gang members to around 20 as when gang's exceed that number of member's, things start to become a little hectic.
