Im refering to the game and not the actual history. The choices are (as we all probably know):
1. Shu (Liu Bei)
2. Wei (Cao Cao)
3. Wu (Sun Ce)

My choice is Wei because you start with more army, more generals and can get the harness (my favorite item) right away. Also, Cao Cao has Meng De which gives the Overlord skill and he has the most uncatchable generals out of the 3 kingdoms. He can also get Lu Bu right away, and the list goes on. Second place in my poll would be Shu. The reason i choice Shu over Wu is because Wu doesnt have anyone who's uncatchable that has strategy. Shu also has Guan Yu and his 3 sons which are all pretty good fighters and Zhang Fei. Wu isnt a bad kingdom because they are the only kingdom that can get every single item in the game (if memory serves me right). Wu's biggest problem is the lack of someone with strategy to start with. You either need items or catch/recruit Lu Xun/Pang Tong.

You might also notice, my order is the actually the order of the number of generals with "Strategy" skill which are uncatchable. (Wei: Sima Yi, Guo Yi, Shu: Zhuge Liang, Wu: None)

I gotta agree Wei is the best. Though I found Cao Cao's quest much too easy. I like Shu a lot too but Wei is much better.

I like Shu the best but Wei is a lot better. The only people that Shu can get that Wei cant are really just Zhang Fei Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang... While Wei has tons of people and you can almost start out with Lu Bu. And when you defeat Yuan Shao you can get my favorite people like Zhao Yun and Gongsun Zan....

Is there really any choice here?! Wei is by far the easiest, IMO. I find it impossible to lose, I mean, they basically give you EVERYTHING you could possibly want, except for the Crescent and Seven Star on my current path...

Ummm... you get crecent from Lu Bu. so you can get it no matter which path you take. What you cant get is Seven Star and Avenger (+20 War).

I know that, but I screwed up and I killed Lu Bu with an attack, instead of a 3 Combo, so I didn't get the Crescent, and I am on the path where Cao Cao instantly kills Lu Bu. That is what I meant.

Ah so thats why!! That really sucks since crecent is a top 5 item!!! Of course if you like items, Wu is the best.

i personaolly like shu cuz u got all the cool generals there and for wu and wei i think they started too strong so no big point using this 2 contrys here,,,cuz feel no chanllege

Actually in one of the path, Wei has the hardest last part. Overal, Shu does have the harder pathes but the hardest part of the game goes to Wei.

and by the way,,after i finish the game the route i took will show up??so i know which route are new and should go for next time i play the game?but is there doulbed routes i mean how many endings are there for each kingdom...i know shu got a really cool one which is Guan Yu's...

The first part for Wu is VERY easy. You can have like four armies and you get tons of generals. But the downs side is all those generals are archery units.....

During the course of the game, there are times when you can do one of 2 objective (or 3 sometimes). Doing one objective is one path and the other will result in another path. Beating the game wont open new pathes. Beating the game only shows you which path you have taken and which path are still not taken. Also, there are also secret objective sometimes which lead to secreat paths. Those are shown after you beat the game (the path not the objective). For example, on the shu game. When you get to option to attack or ally with Lu Bu. If you do nothing, its ANOTHER path!!! Of course that path leads to the samething as attacking him but its a different path.

Wei

I can only beat the game as wei, ive all the level things got for wei but cant beat it as the others, but doin good on a shu one

I like Shu cause of LuiBei and Guan Yu! but wei so way better! gots cao cao and more people[army]!
