Partially agreeing with as to why I said CLIT was much worse, but it'll be slightly altered anyway it seems. I'll let Lorx have his say before I go changing things with Guv though.

Just a note; there are far worse things than the simple acronym of my clan.
Movies, possibly one of the largest influences on society today, go just as far, if not farther with sex jokes. Have you ever seen Wild Hogs, for example? It's rated PG-13, and I can already remember two references to sex, one being a BJ and the other a cock-fight (now I'm not meaning to bash Wild Hogs, it's a great movie). So I honestly don't see all the fuss over a joking clan name's acronym? I even removed all possible sex references (besides the acronym), for the sake of keeping the joke and keeping it under control. ------------------- | |

Lets not start a fight. (Jesh,) this is why mods usually think about these things instead of a popular vote. If you want, think of this argument as two armies on the opposite side of a field, with me and Celes in the middle. Me and Celes are trying to find a property line that makes both armies happy with the size of their country, so lives aren't lost in a battle over the field. Not to intrude but Lorx is correct. You guys have had your say, now it's up to the Moderators to make the decision. Those who go on about it will most likely just hurt their chances, as it is annoying. Feedback yes that's good, suggestions yes that's good but debates do not belong here. Reach the front of the line, have your say, walk on.

I don't want to appear all dictator-like whatsoever; as far as I was concerned I thought we had been running this in an entirely democratic sense. However, it was obvious that the continuation of this topic is as it is now: pointless bickering simply reiterating points already made, hence why I said for the topic to be dropped.
I don't mean to sound rude Jesh, but it seems that you're the only person who had much of an issue with the acronym, while there are six members already in BLOWME with a couple defending against its removal. This would suggest that keeping it in place would be entirely democratic; your opinion may be valuable, but it doesn't represent the majority. I do, however, fully recognise your point, as much as I also believe it's not that controversial, and so it's possible that we will see a change. While we completely appreciate all feedback, this is a topic we've certainly received enough of and will be judging accordingly in due time. ------------------- | |
