The member interviews, I'm pretty sure that's what he's talking about. We can't do it with the current amount of members being so low.

quote MishtramHonestly, it's rare I appreciate forum games. I have quite a dislike for Hurt and Heals and things of the like. However, something knowledge based (maybe Who Wants to be a Millionaire?) and possibly even a ShinRa/Galbadia/spin-off Spy would go down with me. I quite like the idea of interviews too, providing they're long and, well, good. General PC forum misses you. -------------------

We don't really have the amount of people needed for Interviews in my opinion. Interviews are there so people can get to know other members better, but in a forum that doesn't have hordes of people, it's a bit of a mute point. Would be really fun though... Note to self: Don't bother Daisy, ever. And thanks for the help Mish. Finding my own transmission in the storm ------------------- ![]()

quoteI've been the same for quite some time now. I'm not sure what the ShinRa/Galbadia/spin-off thing is, would you mind explaining that? The forum is early on, so if you guys want games, I'd like to limit it just to one or two for now. I know, I know, artificial rules ftl, but I want this forum to be more discussion and more gaming and less randomness. You can run a Millionaire thing if you want, would prefer to hear what the other thing is first though. quoteI miss it too, along with the rest of the PC Category. quoteHmm, Daisy is hard to bother, but touching her is a little overboard and most definitely will net bruising. quoteEspecially since myself and Celes are probably two of the only non-Maple Story transcripts in the forum right now. If you guys want to get more people involved and have an idea on how to do that that needs my toolset, feel free to ask.

quote LorxI have this faved since I am a fan of Valve's but I have only played Orange Box, but this way I can see what they are up to and if something interests me I can check it out. So I guess I lurk from time to time when I see a thread that interests me, but since I am not really active with the whole program, I don't have much to post. ^___^ That being said - as Mish said above, it's not a bother to contact me if you need some help or janitorial work done. But if you touch me I might have to practice some e-quan do on you. ------------------- ![]() This Post Needs More Zazz.

It's okay, I have invisible guns. Which are far more powerful than visible ones. /YGOTAS You fit right in Daisy, considering everybody here has either CS:S, The Orange Box, or a bit of both. The Orange Box is the reason why I got steam to begin with, it's a wonderful Box. Great Coloring, nice size, a good orange tint, guns displayed on it, and it even comes with games inside! Have you tried some of the HL2 mods yet btw? Finding my own transmission in the storm ------------------- ![]()

quote MishtramReally, the Spy games aren't particularly thoughtful so I suppose I'm going back on myself when I oppose games like Hurt and Heal, but from experience, providing they are run efficiently, they can be very fun and exciting. Reconsidering how well it would go down in this forum has made me realize that the amount of the regular posters here probably wouldn't be sufficient for a typical game, but I'll briefly cover it here anyway. Up to around 15 players sign up to the game; first come, first served. Each player is told their role in the game. In the traditional version of the game 14 players will be normal, innocent players. In the Final Fantasy VII version these were called Avalanche members, Balhamb Seeds in the Final Fantasy VIII edition. The final remaining member is assigned the role of the Spy (ShinRa Spy, Galbadia Spy). It is announced to everyone that there is a spy amongst the ranks and it his job to try and eliminate the rest of the players before being caught himself. Every week (usually on the Friday) the spy would pick a player to be killed and give a summary of how he would have executed the player. It is then up to the remaining, living players to vote off a player from the cast, using their 'detective skills' to try and kill the Spy as quickly as possible. Due to the ratio of Spy to Innocents, this will evidently be more likely than not another innocent. This continues week after week as the Spy attempts to avoid death and finish the last man standing. In the event of three players lasting, the Spy being one of them, the Spy wins. I'm not sure what roles we would use for the game but the Spy of Team Fortress 2 would be quite an obvious idea (pretty good too.) Edit: Also, to spice the game up, other twists and pre-planned events can be used to surprise the players. An example is the game of two spies, or the introduction of a medic class (which coincidentally also fits in with the Team Fortress theme). Here is an example and a back-catalogue of a previous edition: ShinRa Spy IV -------------------

I love that game! Though I am curious, how do the innocents get clues about the spy? Through his killing explanations only? Another Variation of the game Finding my own transmission in the storm ------------------- ![]()

In my experience of the games, I don't remember any use of clues. The only assumptions that could be made were through killings and the general game chat.

Games Will Be Very Good, But Still The Issue Of Activity Crops Up Again. We Dont Have 15 Active People Atm For The Spy Game, And The Millionaire Will Be 2 Or 3 People Going Again And Again. ~Searle -------------------

We have enough active people where there'd be at least a good 4 or 5 competing in the Millionaire. But I agree with you about the Spy game. Finding my own transmission in the storm ------------------- ![]()
