French gaming wire Sugoi! has posted some artwork and character designs for the game which you view right here. Very reminscent of FFIX's style, which IMO isn't all that bad of a thing. Now here's hoping some actual game screens and movies/trailers start coming out soon!

I found a Japanese Gamecube trailer on a site that had a few seconds clip of FF Crystal Chronicle. go to http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/ffccgc/ffccgcmov.html to check it out (30 second commercial)

The cutesy appearance of the characters seems very reminiscent of FF9 but they seem like they are meant to be adults appearing young whilst adults in FF9 were normal size (Adelbert Steiner, the Knights of Pluto etc.).
The video looks good though, really smooth. ------------------- ..anyway I reversed over it to make sure it was dead and it threw a 15lb tuna threw my window, so I tipped the waiter and got the hell out of there.. | |
