dreamcatcher weapon |
|
spoiler..!
ok so i got the dreamcatcher for selkies, which took me FOREVER, but while the focus attack is strong, i also get damaged each time i use it. i was wondering if the ultimate weapons' focus attacks do the same thing?? btws, i'm on my sixth year and my family trade is alchemists, and supposedly the merchants's "trade level" will increase as my own family's level does. But its not offering any new items. what's with that? This message was edited by chocolategamer on Aug 03 2009.

1) No. The Ultima Maul (which is the greatest weapon for the Selkies), doesn't have any effect on your health if you use it. The Dreamcatcher, however, is far more interesting to use. The Ultima Maul looks almost identical to your first racket, only giving a knock-back effect, which means you basically never get hit by any monster again.
2) After you have completed one year (gathered three drops of myrrh), you return to Tipa. Leave Tipa. Then, when in the World Map menu, change your character to the merchant character in your caravan. Take your merchant into Tipa and talk to your father, who then shows you his shop. If you've done right, there's nothing you can buy. Now leave. Repeat this process for three years. After three years, you can buy everything that's in the merchant shop, including the two materials you will need to forge the greatest weapon.
