Playing with friend with GBA is Fun |
|
Me and my friend started to play in multiplayer and it's more interesting playing in multi than playing alone with this game. You can do so much tings in multi;like combo attack with magic and all this stuff.
plz send me your opinion about my post FF maniac

There are advantages and, yes, disadvantages also. Yes, you can combine spells and stuff without having mog say when he wants to cast a spell... but someone always has to carry the chalice.
Also in Mushroom Forest, I believe, you all have to stand on the mushroom to get it to activate... so basically if someone gets lost in the forest, you are screwed until you go find him/her. Your friends may argue over what jobs they need to have as a group. So, you rarely get things done. There are tons more that I am holding back on posting... because I don't want you to have to sit here and read... Oh and one other thing... ~M ~~O ~~~G ~~~~ ~~~~~I ~~~~~~S ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~P ~~~~~~~~~I ~~~~~~~~~~M ~~~~~~~~~~~P ~~~~~~~~~~~~! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------- ![]()

I can't wait to play multiplayer! I already knew quite a few people that own a GBA, or plan, too. Plus, me and two others already have a GCN link. If I buy another GCN link, my sister could join in (she has her own GBA), too. ^^ So my sister can carry the chalice, while we fight. I'm planning to get together with my friends next weekend, and I hope it works out.

I haven't had the joy of playing multiplayer yet, the only people I know with a GBA won't pick up a link, I'm not going to buy one for them, what am I going to do with three links other than let them play for free, what a waste of money on my part.
I'm trying to convince them, one has played the game and likes it. *Hopes* ------------------- HOW CAN SHE SLAP?!

After waiting so long, I finally got to play multiplayer today! In my opinion, it is more fun, but also much harder. My friend and I played the Lynari Desert, and the boss was pretty tough. We kept getting poisoned, so when one person went to go pick up the chalice and the poison affected them, they would drop it right away. This is a big disadvantage about multiplayer; always dropping the chalice when you recieve damage. We did beat the boss after awhile though!
Overall, I think multiplayer is much more fun, chatting away the entire time and such. 4 player will be much better though, once I play it!

My favorite part of Crystal Cronicles is the multiplayer. It's so much fun co-operating with my friends during boss battles, even though we sometimes do have arguments, but its all good. I remember one time when my sister, a friend and I were plying multiplayer, and my friend was being a real pain and taking all the stuff from treasure chests, so me and my sister droped a pot of water on him then I cast blizzard on it, so he froze and my sister walked off with the chalice, it was so funny! But other than that one time we got along great!

multiplayer mode is definetly more fun (in my humble opinion)!
i love cooperating especialy on the boss fights! i also agree that it is much harder because mog (even though he is a bit whiny at times) is very adept at carying the chalice. ------------------- flygon... spirit of the earth... dragon of the wind...

Yeah, playing with people you know will take items, isn't so fun. But, they can occasionally bring you back when you're dead, you can designate a specific person to be a healer, attacker, and spell-caster. So, there are great advantages to be had playing with other people. And, in my opinion, it's more comftorable to play with the GBA than the bulky GBA controller.

He doesn't complain when you fight the bosses though, if he did that would suck, having to carry the chalice while you are an open target. I don't think he is that annoying though, you just have to have him drop it when there aren't enemies nearby and carry it for a bit. It doesn't take too long until he isn't tired anymore.

quote Wei NanThat isn't true. One of ur party members can't get lost, because u guys all have to stay within the chalice, -.- And beside, i've tried multi-player and single-player, and i think multi-player has way more advantages than disadvantages. Some being that u learn how to cooperate with other people, and learn teamwork. Although we argue sometimes, i think the teamwork built into this game is real nice. ------------------- ![]() -By Studly Cannon

Whee! I played Multi with my brother today because I had to go get some ( stupid ) dressshoes for my theatre arts performance in two days... and my mom decided that we should stop by the store and buy another cable because I have been bugging her ever since I found out you needed 2 to play 2 player. So me and my brother played, it was fun... except I kept trying to drown him in the Miasma XD and we got tons of artifacts and raised my stats high!

When it comes to playing multiplayer with my friends I notice that some people are better at carring the chalice than others. Like this one guy who just picks yp the chalice and starts waliking off without telling us that hes going. And if he gets annoyed with the other players and me, when he has the chalice he heads in one direction and then suddenly turns and heads the opposite way, so everybody else is left out in the miasma!

Ah, and easy way to avoid that is to push "select". Since you are in the menu and cant move, when a character tries to put you in the Miasma like that, your character will automatically move to keep up with the person carrying the chalice. This really helps when some one tries to kill you while you are stuck in the menu!
