Go for all the str and def you can get, it helps out a lot. Just keep doing areas where you don't have all of the items yet.

I am only on the third year, however I am using all eight characters in my caravan. I am using the third one now who happens to be a Clavat female.
I beat the boss of the Selpation Caves and it was a little difficult, but yeah... going back to the first level you do with her, to get some more artifacts. Well, at least one more. But I have the Thunder Ring for her, which is pretty cool! I want a Cure Ring though. ------------------- | |
