What kinds of music do you guys like? I personally like classic rock more than anything. I do like some metal songs, though, except most of them suck.
Also, if you have an MP3 player, what kind is it? I have a 16 gig iPod touch which I love. I also have these really nice skullcandy earphones that have great sound quality, and dont hurt at all. They are the in-ear kind. Got them for $35, and it was well worth it. Discuss.  ------------------- | |

Grunge, metal, classic, basically any type of rock music is good in my book except for most mainstream bands who suck.. Jazz and instrumentals are pretty good too. I have a 4 gig samsung p2, it's pretty sweet, their making a samsung p3 so I'll probably be upgrading soon.

I like most sub-genres of rock since just saying you like rock in particular just doesn't cut it anymore.
Though, I'm currently loving Post-Rock where it's just ambient music with little to no words (depending on bands' preferences). You can interpret the song how you like and it's different for everyone, and everytime. edit: I gots me a 4gb Zune. Had it for a month now and I need more space. :3 -------------------  | |

Just bought an 8 gig MP3. I listen to Power Metal mostly. Lanfear, Iced Earth, Falconer, Blind Guardian, Hammefall, Kamelot...things of that sort.

I dunno how people could listen to only one type of music, it would get stagnant and boring for me, I constantly need new and different sounds and styles.

I'm mostly Grunge and 90's rock. Nirvana, of course, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, throw in some ska, a little metal, some techno, some dance, and a tiny bit of country.
I also listen to Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, because they're amazing.  I have had an iPod Video 30GB for 3-4 years and it has proven to be one of my most valuable posessions, considering music is most of my life. I think I'm going to upgrade to the touch soon, though. For some reason, I just can't have those kind of skullcandy headphones. They drown out everything. Though I like to just hear my music and ignore the rest of the world, I'm always paranoid someone's going to talk to me and I'll look like a complete douche and just stand there. ;-;

I have the same problem The Don.
 I mainly listen to Punk, Ska, Rock and a bit of Metal. However I like to expand my tastes as much as I can so there is also a bit of Indie, Glam Rock, Grunge, Blues, Funk and even some Rap. I don't paticularly like being confined to one genre of music as it doesn't suit my personality. I'm quite a well rounded character who fits in well with pretty much any "group". -------------------  You're just an LA girl | |

Imo apple headphones have crap quality and hurt my ears, so I don't like them, I like the zune headphones best.
