I would say that's wrong, you enjoy that aspect of the music because you are that. Just like I can't stand most of the bands you mentioned because their singers generally suck, I happen to be a singer (the only one that is tolerable is Killswitch, because when the singer is not screaming he has a good voice). I have really been liking Rammstein's newest album Liebe ist fur Alle Da. Honestly its like an old friend has come back from a long absence, and he is even better than when he left. The opening song Rammlied just sets the album off and it does not let go. I also have the newest Muse album, its pretty good, but the songs can feel all too much like Queen at points, and a little like Pink Floyd in others. The last three songs a pure genius.

I'm in agreement with you there. It's good, but, intentional or not, they sound like Queen and Floyd. But the 1984 theme the album has drew me in a lot too.

I currently fell in love with 3 songs. Angel by Jimi Hendrix, Castles made of sand by Hendrix and Gunman by Them Crooked Vultures.
